I bought some corriedale wool from them online and they delivered it quickly, at a good price! The combed tops smelled a bit like lanolin, which I didn't expect because when I've bought wool tops before they usually don't have a smell, but it's not unpleasant

This order (July 2026) arrived super quickly and totally intact to SouthAustralia. Thank you. I am flying to Queensland for a weeks holiday on Friday and hope to have a chance to drop by Wild Woolly while there. ************************** I think the only place in Australia to purchase Groz-Beckert felting needles - thank you! Ordered 21/12 and received 13/1 so took 3 weeks to get here over Christmas and New Year. Also the packaging was ripped - luckily all items were intact and appear undamaged. Thank you.

I purchased Felting needles and felt pillow thing the needles go into. I made a little linen pillow case for the felting pillow as advised, so not to much felt balled up and mixed with the wool thread. I use it in my Nalbinding. Nalbinding requires using multiple short lengths of wool..and felting the ends back together. Most people seem to just roll the ends together with a bit of water but I saw an American lady online who used felting needles and a small felted pillow. It works just fine. No photos.. I'm still practising. Nalbinding is super fun. The pictures are from online content of what can be made by Nalbinding.

Updated July 2026 Dianne's in person classes are lots of fun also. She is a very generous teacher and if you ever get the opportunity to do one with her jump at it, you won't regret it and you will have a lot of fun and discover a new hobby. Di is an excellent teacher, very well organised and you will gain a lot of confidence. Original review. Dianne’s online lessons are very worthwhile and fun. They teach you everything you need to know and her accompanying sculptural animal kits are put together well. Have ordered more and look forward to seeing her new kits and lessons. Thanks.
