Wild Woolly is so excited to be coming to the Makers Fair 2025,  in Gympie and run workshops on the ground floor of the pavilion. This workshop is for beginners and people new to needle felting, and you will be given step to step instructions and guidance on how to make these beautiful birds. During the workshop Di will teach skills that will help you start your needle felting. You can make either a magpie or a galah and learn the skills to make any bird.  Designed to sit in a pot plant or bunch of flowers give them away to friends and family, they make the perfect gift.

What you will learn
Knowledge of the right wools to use for different projects.
Instruction on the right gauge of needle to use and when.
Basic body shaping, proportions and how to get a realistic shape.
How to blend wools.
How to build character into a face.

All tools and materials will be supplied.
Tools: wool mat,  high quality needles, wooden needle holders,  scissors
Materials: Finest Australian core wool and NZ 100% corriedale wools.
Participants will take home 1 bird.
