Wild Woolly beautiful Lincoln wool is sourced right from the farm gate, we are proud to be supporting an Aussie wool grower. Lincoln wool is particularly lustrous wool and practically glows with color when dyed. Here at Wild Woolly we love it for animals’ tails, manes and the locks made fabulous hair for felted creatures and doll making.
With a micron count between 36-40 and the staple about 20cm it is fantastic for needle felting, when you need a strong and long fibre. Lincoln wool is a heavier wool and one of the most popular features is that it is extremely lustrous, with a sheen that is hard to beat – especially dyed. It makes great rugs when spun or woven, so spinners and weavers love it too.
