Description
Sari Silk fibre is so much fun to work with. It really adds life and texture to your projects. A very small amount goes a long way and gives your creations the depth in colour and feeling that will make them stand out. It is perfect for spinning and hand felting.
Sari Silk Fibre is made in Italy by DHG the Dyeing House Gallery. ‘Waste’ is the word which in technical jargon indicates what is left at the end of the production process of textiles. In this case, the silk fibre comes from the production process of silk fabrics used to make traditional Indian Saris. Unlike similar products on the market, the DHG silk waste comes from the production of raw, undyed fabrics. Therefore this is a recycled material which at the same time meets very high quality standards. All DHG colours are dyed in their plants in Italy, and therefore are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified.
